A steep 20-foot elevation transition through the center of this site presented a site planning challenge. Three and four-level structures were designed to step down the grade changes and blend with the existing topography. Further complicating the design solution were on-site heritage oak trees, a large elderberry bush, neighboring new single-family homes and designation of the site as a component of the Folsom Historic district.
