In the course of developing this design, Architect Bob Kuchman traveled to Chicago, Illinois and visited many of the best Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie Style residences including Taliesin East and the Robie House. Characteristics of Prairie style architecture include relaxed ground-hugging forms expressed by strong horizontal lines, spacious interiors, a blending of exterior and interior space, art glass and natural organic materials. Construction was substantially completed in 2006.
